Residential Inspection Fees Vary based upon the Size and Age of the structure.  Size of the structure is evaluated by living space above or below grade excluding unfinished spaces such as a garage.  Outbuildings such as barns, storage sheds, and greenhouses are typically excluded but can be included for a reasonable fee.

* Prices reliable for our "local market" area. A modest travel fee may apply for inspections performed outside our typical service area (1 hour+ travel time one way).  Inspectable SQFT estimate based on habitable areas including basements, not "above grade" valuation area. Homes built prior to 1960 or homes known to be in poor condition may be priced higher based on anticipated condition or complexity.

** Free courtesy walk-through of outbuilding is an option without formal inclusion in the report.

I will inspect the structure, systems and components of the home, inside and out, from the foundation to the roof, using the latest tools and technology.

 

I strongly encourage you to attend your inspection so that I can describe my process, explain my findings, point out important maintenance items, and answer all of your questions.

 

As a Certified Master Inspector and member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) as well as a state-licensed inspector I adhere to a comprehensive Residential Standards of Practice including BOTH the ASHI Standards of Practice and the InterNachi Standards of Practice. Following my evaluation, I will compile my findings in an easy-to-read report, which will include detailed descriptions and high-resolution digital photos of any issues I've discovered (and occasionally a short video embedded in the report).
