I am blessed to live in the Corona de Tucson area which is well named and translates into English the "Crown of Tucson". While no community is perfect, I love Tucson and all the surrounding suburbs. I value honesty, hard work, consistency, and a good sense of humor. My work history and training allow me to spot problems that others may miss.

 

Experience & Work Hisotry

I became a full-time home inspector in January 2015. Before launching my home inspection company in Washington State, my background included 5 years as a real estate broker, 4 years as a structural pest inspector, 2 years as a real estate appraiser trainee, and experience in construction, roofing, and a brief foray into HVAC (the heating and cooling industry). Along the way I also gained experience as a volunteer reserve police officer which helped shape an investigative mindset and honed people skills that have paid dividends many times over.

Honesty Is The Only Policy

I have found the home inspection industry to be a great fit for me. As a former estate agent, it was my job to protect the best interest of my client. As a former real estate appraiser, it was my job to protect the public by being objective about market data. As a home inspector, it's my job to do both. I protect my clients by being objective, honest, and tactful about the true condition of the property they are hiring me to inspect. I consider it a sacred trust that must be guarded at all cost. In my view the saying, "Honesty is the best policy" doesn't say it strong enough. It's the only policy.

As a Certified Master Inspector trained by InterNACHI (the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and a licensed Arizona Home Inspector, I follow two distinct yet similar Standards of Practice. The state of Arizona enforces the ASHI Standards. There is also the InterNachi Standards - this ensures that you receive a detailed and accurate inspection.
